Hello everyone,

This is a personal  request from Surendhar V, admin of Technsports. WOT one of the web rating system has rated Technsports as poor in Child content, Trustworthiness, Privacy and in Vendor reliability. We contacted them to change the ratings of our site, but they replied us, to ask our visitors to rate it.For a visitor to rate a site, they have register in WOT, so I left it till now. Following the comments from our regular visitors to write about it, I will point the reasons why the ratings are not correct

  1. Technsports is Sitelock protected (https://www.sitelock.com/verify.php?site=technsports.com) . Every day all the webpages and links in Technsports will be scanned for malware, virus and spam.
  2. We have a privacy policy (http://technsports.com/privacy-policy/).
  3. We never ask for your email address unless you make a comment or subscribe to our email feed.
  4. We have a contact form with my mail id (admin@technsports.com).
  5. Technsports is safe according to all the Internet Security Software.
  6. All your mails and suggestions are looked through.
  7. All the Giveaways are genuine and authentic . If you doubt this you can directly contact the respective software vendors.
  8. All the promotional offers listed out here are either conducted by the respective software vendors or in association with those vendors
  9. Technsports is a social media news website. We just list out the software updates, promotional offers,tech news.Therefore all the articles are Child safe.
  10. All the ads are served by Google AdSense and we never place the ads in the post article.
  11. We never ask for any donations.

In spite of pointing out all the facts to the WOT, they still ask our visitors to do the rating. If you feel that Technsports deserve to be rated as safe, please rate our site at. Its just a request from us and its up to you rate our Site.

    I have another suggestion Surendhar. Keep this post on the top so that everybody can see this topic. Mostly people scan through 1-2 pages. SO all the new visitors will definitely miss this post. Btw its good to see the ratings going in the positive direction……… Thank you.

    As like every one i am also surprised by this low WOT rating for this site , this shouldn’t be done. but we know how safe and friendly is this site.and every other malicious search tool for URL shows this. we don’t care what WOT says it is community based rating provider & we all prove them wrong.

    For years I have been using WOT. It means a lot to me if WOT comes up with negative comments. It makes me extremely relieved to find websites with WOT assessment showing positive results.

      WOT have become worthless these days…. people can easily mislead you with wrong ratings and comments. Even some spammers get a good WOT ratings.

        Moreover some ppl have a birthright to go & vote (against)..

          Spot on grr. Bloggers or site owner now can buy a seal and the ratings wont work after that. So no point judging a website by WOT ratings.

    I admire sites like this, if there were more like yours out there I would probably leave “The Scene.” WOT system is flawed, but that’s how they prefer it. WOT are extortionists, it’s a shame that TechNSports.com is under it’s heel. I registered as a rater at WOT, and gave TechNSports.com EXCELLENT ratings as it deserves. If WOT truly cared about the validity of the ratings, then they should rate the raters. A rater that takes the time to comment on their own rating of a site should count more than just a rating without an explanation. Anyways, I commented on my rating even though it has no influence on your overall rating (one of WOT’s intentional flaws.)

    Websites should succeed or fail based on its own merits, not the arbitrary mouse clicks of clueless raters and some BS “Bayesian inference” mumbo jumbo. Maybe you should inquire about WOT’s “numerous trusted sources, such as phishing and malware blacklists.” Anyways, I hope you find a solution to your problem.

    WOT ratings are improving for technsports but its improving a bit slowly, surendhar v encourage followers & others to vote there in other manor. followers should share this to social sites & include friends. i have done already.
