Facebook yesterday announced its new Video Chat facility. It’s a one way video chat and you need to install a add-on, so that you can have your video chat in the browser itself.

• First go to the Facebook Video page from here and then click Get Started.

• You will be asked to complete the setup the first time you try to call a friend, or the first time a friend tries to call you. To call a friend, click the video icon at the top of your chat window.

• If you click Set up, you will download Add-on of size 483 KB and after that you will be shown some instructions, to install it.

• Now restart your browser and have your video chat with your friends.
